AGCO expands its business in Africa //

The Atlanta, Georgia-based agricultural equipment manufacturer AGCO plans to expand its activities in Africa.
Martin Richenhagen, AGCO’s Chairman, President and CEO, believes the African market offers considerable growth potential and at a press event today in Johannesburg announced the company would be extending its existing network of dealerships and would be setting up local training centres. AGCO was also developing tractor types that met the specific demands of the African market, he continued.
This was the first press event the company has ever organised in Johannesburg. Stockheim Media, AGCO’s permanent global press relations agency, was responsible for organising and planning the event.
