Ulrich Stockheim, Founder & CEO
Ulrich Stockheim


This economist and trained journalist started his career in 1993 as editor of the publication “Wertpapier”. During this time, he developed the first German newsletter on investment funds, entitled “Fonds Erfolg”. At the end of 1994, he started working for the business magazine “Capital”, where he specialized in funds and international investment. He was the first Wall Street correspondent for “Capital” in New York, where he worked in 1998 and 1999. After returning from New York, Stockheim became managing director of the Wertpapier publishing house. During this time, people could watch him on WDR television in his regular appearances as “Mr. Daks”. Ulrich Stockheim is also the author of two books, “Inside Wall Street” (Gabler) and “Mr. Daks – Aktienstrategien für alle” (Econ).

Carsten Böhme, Managing Partner, Frankfurt
Ulrich Stockheim
This business graduate has worked at practically every level of the investment and finance industry. After finishing his banking education in 1992, he worked in various jobs in private banking, PR and financial controlling at Deutsche Bank.
Following educational pursuits in Germany, France and England, he worked in the marketing department of DWS Investments in Frankfurt, developing product and marketing strategies for pension schemes. He was responsible for publicity work in Germany and Europe as the spokesman and acting public relations director at DWS from 2000 to 2003.

Thomas Stein, Director of Corporate Communications, Cologne

This graduate economist has worked as a consultant in various agencies since 1995. He specializes in the areas of (including contributions in ”Handbuch für Kommunikation“ (“Handbook for Communication”)among others) and media response analysis.

He started his career at the consulting firm Pleon Kohtes Klewes, where he worked for over 10 years – reaching the position of Senior Consultant with full signing powers. In this role, he advised numerous internationally operating companies, public sector organizations and federal government ministries. Publicity campaigns are just as much part of his repertoire as M&A and internal communication.

Thomas Stein joined Stockheim Media in 2007 and is responsible for business development and the Corporate Communications department.

Aleksandra Bikar, Director of Events, Cologne
Aleksandra Bikar, Leiterin Events, Stockheim Media, Köln
She holds a degree in Comparative Literature, History of Art and Romanic Studies (M.A.), and has been active in the event industry for over 14 years. She has worked on both the agency and client sides during her years in the business. As project manager, she organized numerous advanced training seminars, incentive meetings and other events.

She also designed event concepts for internationally operating companies which were tailored to their specific communication strategies.

At Stockheim Media, Aleksandra Bikar has been responsible for event management, particularly for the planning and organization of conferences, press trips, receptions and other special events since 2004.

Carsten Jekel, Director of Corporate Publishing, Cologne
Carsten Jekel
After graduating with a degree in political sciences (M.A.), Carsten Jekel worked as a freelance journalist and completed his training as a PR consultant in 1998. He then moved on to work with other PR and advertising agencies – most recently at SEA Düsseldorf.

As project manager, he implemented numerous corporate publishing projects, particularly annual reports and corporate brochures, as well as advertising campaigns for various financial publications.

He joined Stockheim Media in 2005, where he has focused on developing new products and designing magazines and newsletters.

David Verbeek, Managing Editor, Cologne
David Verbeek
A graduate economist and journalist, David Verbeek initially worked as an editor for the publishing company FINANZEN in Munich, before going into financial communications in 1999. As Senior Consultant for MorgenWalke Scior and as Director of Investor Relations for NewMark Finanzkommunikation in Frankfurt, he advised small and mid cap companies regarding IPO communication, investor and media relations, and corporate publishing.

Since 2003 he works as a managing editor for Stockheim Media, drawing up and supervising publications for companies in the finance sector, among others the magazines Eurofund (DWS), Edit Value (KPMG Deutschland), and IQ (Sal. Oppenheim).
